Learn and create - collage workshop with Lucie Blaževská

The team from Auckland Women's Centre

We are excited to have Lucie Blaževská join our tutoring team with her workshop Learn and Create.

This 2 hour collage workshop is on the topic of inspiring women in your lives. Women don’t have to be famous to be inspiring, the collage could based on their favourite teacher, friend, sports coach, auntie or parent, the idea is to celebrate the person you admire and understand the reasons why they are so inspirational.

Lucie will offer two sessions, one for general adult women and one specifically for young women aged 13-18.

All materials provided, enrolment and prepayment is essential.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
