Walking Stars 2019

The Team from Cancer Society Auckland

Walking Stars is a night-time walking marathon that brings people together to raise vital funds in supporting local people living with cancer. Starting after sun down at Auckland Domain, the 21.2 km route takes you on a magical starlit walk past some of Auckland’s finest landmarks.

Each walker gets their own online fundraising page, with all funds raised going directly to support local people living with cancer. In 2018, Walking Stars participants together raised over $500,000, an amazing contribution.

Your entry includes:

- Event entry

- Training plans

- Walker number

- Hydration stations en route

- Walking Stars 2019 medal on completion

- Memorable experience (to be repeated again and again)

Your registration fee covers the cost of the event and fundraising efforts will support work of the Cancer Society. You will have your own fundraising page to share with your friends and family, and every dollar you raise helps fund cancer research, support and prevention.
