Calling all Qwizards!
Rocky Nook Bowls is hosting an off-season quiz night fundraiser for new visitor bowls on Friday 2nd August.
Win AIS bar tab prizes- valid until 31st October- for 1st ($100) 2nd ($50) and 3rd ($25) along with great spot prizes donated by The Classic Comedy Club and The Dominion Pub, Mt Eden!
Kicking off at 7:00pm, the Auckland Irish Society bar will be open from 6pm
Tables of 8 are available for $160 (bookings can be made in minimum groups of 4) which includes a substantial platter of nibbles. Numbers are limited- half the tables are already booked!- so don’t miss out, reserve your table now.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
