We asked the energy experts to breakdown the running costs of all our favourite winter warmers, so you can work out how to get the best heating bang for your buck.

And while it's no shock that firing up a 2Kw electric heater doesn't come cheap, the price of a warm bed for a toasty night's sleep might surprise you. Check out the full rundown, including electric blankets, hot showers, heated towel rails and more, here.

We have a shoot location category on our website sharedspace.co.nz - list your place (freebie) and see what types of bookings you can get - a lady I sit next to listed her house and booked a documentary (With a famous athlete) to be filmed there and charged $1300 for the day! Score!

People flick you an email with what they are looking for, you can then decide if you want to have them in your home. You can get enquiries for a photo shoot, a TV commercial, documentary and filming. Apologies for the spammy post - but if I had a nice place i'd definitly be taking advantage!!

Hit me up if you want more details - or tag in someone with something pretty/quirky/original going on in their home, business, batch or garden!!
You can check out the category itself here: www.sharedspace.co.nz...
