Roof scam targeting elderly folk in Manukau
A con artist posing as a roofer has duped elderly people out of thousands of dollars for "urgent repair work".
The scammer convinced his victims, who live in Manukau, that their roof needed urgent roof repairs.
He took their money and vanished.
