Papatoetoe Historical Society Museum reopening for December 2021
The museum at 91 Cambridge Terrace Papatoetoe is back open again for the next two Wednesdays 8/12/2021 and 15/12/2021 10am - 12 midday prior to shut down over Christmas / New Year holidays. A free activity to consider as something to do before Christmas. Donations are appreciated upon entry. Covid Tracing / QR code scanning, active vaccine passes and facemasks are mandatory conditions of entry into facility as per Auckland Council / Government regulations as well as courtesy towards the consideration of our valued volunteers.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
