As part of this event, we present the world-famous Korean 'Icheon Ceramics' at the East Coast Bay Library from 17 March to 31 March. Choraiya bhaji (or Chowrai Bhaji, Chore Bhaji) is a nutritious, leafy green vegetable from the amaranth family, popular in Caribbean, Fijian, and Indian cuisines, often prepared by sautéing with onions, garlic, peppers, and sometimes tomatoes or eggplant, mashed into a soft, flavourful side dish served with roti or rice. It's known for being rich in vitamins (A, C, K) and minerals (iron, calcium) and is also called callaloo or red spinach in different regions.
