Poem: "Drought"
Before the virus came to town
To make us stop and look around
Rain was scarce
Then scarcer still
Dams did not fill
Rain did not fall

Save water! Said weekly
Save water! Said weakly
Save water! We all shout.
So why should we heed
The advice of Raveen Jaduram
Who weekly said weakly
“We’re having a drought...”
