Greg Clark's intriguing trio drew 74,400 views, making his auction the most popular on the site this year.
Clark fielded 140 questions about the shoes which he listed after perpetually wearing out his right jandals.
"In my excitement to see the summer the last three years in a row I've been unfortunate enough to blow one out on the right flank," he said.
"....I've had to face up to the likelihood that I may never need my three left jandals and perhaps there are some deeper issues with my gait which need to be addressed. "
Clark said he was now donning "shiny new jandals taking much greater caution with the placement of my right foot."
The name 'jandal' combines the words 'Japanese' and 'sandal'.

The DinoFest show runs until January 17 with free entry for children aged under two years.
The family friendly event features a dinosaur encounter, children's activities and a dinosaur trail with a life-size T-Rex.
