Please help Northshore students go to Olympiad competition!!
A big THANK YOU! Please go to: givealittle.co.nz...
NZOI ( New Zealand Olympiad in Informatics) selects a team of 4 school students annually to compete against the rest of the world at an international event annually. This year the students travel to Hungary, along with 2 leaders. 3 students are from colleges in Northshore.
These students have competed in 4 selection exams against the best competitive programmers in NZ schools to make the team. But its an expensive trip. In the past students have been almost exclusively funded by the Royal Society. With Covid and a change of direction within MBIE and the Royal Society, they will only be partially funded this year. While this is an enormous help, more money is required. If you can help with a dollar or more, please do!
