My Nice Neighbour nomination

Mohammad Rafi from Epsom

I think my nice neighbor is Patric Alley and his wife. Because we recently moved to Epsom from a very traumatic situation in Afghanistan. Please imagine how might rough the situation be there because were evacuated by NZ troops from the Taliban. Therefore, we need more care than other people. Since coming here, Patric comes every week and he is asking about our condition and our needs, He usually talks to me to improve my English understanding, Her wife once made a homemade cake and brought it to my wife's birthday, which was really valuable and amazing. She surprised us by bringing the cake. Patric and his wife helped us to settle in society smoothly and conveniently. He introduced me to his ex-colleagues at the University of Auckland where I got an honorary senior lecturer position in the medical faculty with his help. He and his colleagues also helped me to go to Manuka super clinic and works there as a volunteer. He is a hero to me because he helps me a lot.
