Hands up out there if you know the laws on vehicles parked on grass berms ?
Is it illegal?
Can the AT and council issue fines?
There seems to be some Grey area around the local bylaws here...
IE: Is it ok to park one or 2 cars on the grass berm ?
How about blocking the view of traffic?
As our Auckland suburbs become more congested with new multilevel builds this issue is going to become worse..
What can we really do about it?
Cars parked on berms and in drive entrance restricting the line of sight for traffic is very dangerous...
