Update to power outage affecting customers in the Ponsonby area
Following our earlier message we can confirm that power was restored in Ponsonby at 1:50pm today.
Our crew is now repairing the affected underground feeder cable. As a temporary measure to restore power, we’ve transferred customers onto other feeders in the surrounding area.
Some customers may experience brief intermittent outages as the repair work is completed and we safely transfer them back onto the restored feeder.
Again, we do apologise for the inconvenience and we thank you for your patience and co-operation.
