Urgent power outage to some streets in Parnell this Sunday
We wanted to let you know that there will be an urgent power outage on Sunday 25 November in Parnell from 5.30am – 8.00am, in order to repair a faulty cable connection to the overhead wires.
Streets affected include: Ayr St, Laurie Ave and Parnell Rd. You will also be sent an email or text message so please keep an eye out for these.
Every effort will be made to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum and we advise you to switch off all sensitive electrical equipment for the duration of the shutdown. Please remember, for your own safety, to treat all wiring and sockets as live at all times.
If you use medical equipment that relies on electricity you should let your retailer know and ensure you are prepared for power disruption. If there is an immediate health threat, please contact your health provider or call 111.
