FINAL UPDATE - 12 DEC - 3PM
All bus services will resume from first thing tomorrow morning. Auckland Transport has received official confirmation from First Union and Tramways Union that all industrial action has been withdrawn.
We’d like to thank our customers for their patience during the disruption.
Due to industrial action all services operated by NZ Bus will be cancelled from Saturday 7 December.
We understand that this will be frustrating for our customers and apologise for the inconvenience.
Is everyone happy about the work to be carried out over the next 6 weeks. One would of thought some consultation, would have been courteous either to our councillors our residents. No mention of traffic calming and exclusion of Heavy goods vehicles, which , incidentally , are travelling at excessive speeds.
Some one needs to take a stand towards AT , and not let them just do what they think.
I await your replies
