Greenland is the world’s biggest island that is not a continent, though over 80% of the Island is covered by an Ice Cap. The autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark has been associated with Northern Europe for more than a millennium despite being geologically located in Northern America. There are no roads outside settlements, so any travel done between towns has to be by plane, helicopter or boat.
