Craft Beer and Cider Daytrip - Auckland to Matakana and Riverhead
Hi Neighbours. Well done NZ on eliminating Covid-19 from our community. It's fantastic that the country is at Level 1. I'm sure that with the general public getting out there again businesses can take steps towards recovery.
In the meantime we can support our local businesses as much as we can. Travel and tourism has been hit hard, and as you can imagine, my own business has been severely impacted by the "new normal".
I love working in travel, so I've been working hard to pivot (yes that word!) my business and find ways to bring you all opportunities that help boost the NZ economy, and business, also keep me doing what I love.
SO my latest venture is to create an opportunity for you to support some of our local breweries and enjoy a fun, catered day trip, with none of the hassle of driving and navigating. If you're into exploring Craft Beer read on. Or Cider read on. Local village markets, or just a good day out? If you know someone who would be interested in something like this, please share. Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times.
