SPCA'S Dog Squad is looking for new members!
Did you know this special group of SPCA fundraisers have fundraised over $430,000 for SPCA?
Members of SPCA Dog Squad, North Shore Supporters, and the North Shore Dog Squad have spent the last 30 years supporting SPCA by fundraising, fostering and adopting, and began back when the SPCA only had minimal staff and very limited resources.
The Dog Squad is full of four-legged members too, including dalmatians, newfoundlands, spaniels, labradors, and a very special ex-SPCA three-legged dog called Lucy. Most of their fundraising work includes regular barbeques out on the streets with their dogs, so they are DESPERATELY searching for new members with great BBQ skills!

Our SPCA fundraisers like the Dog Squad are more than just people on the streets. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
