Bomb squad called out to Narrow Neck beach after old explosive found

Kia ora neighbours, part of Narrow Neck Beach was cordoned off on Wednesday afternoon after an old military explosive was found.

A police spokesperson said they were told before 4.30pm an old military ordinance shell had been found on Narrow Neck Beach.
