Royal Oak Roundabout - possible changes
It sounds as though the roundabout that everyone loves to hate is about to get an upgrade. Our Ward Councillor for Maungakiekie-Tamaki Josephine Bartley reports that Auckland Transport will shortly be consulting on measures including traffic calming and zebra crossing upgrades to make the Royal Oak roundabout safer. It is definitely the most complex traffic intersection in the Mt Roskill electorate (and probably Auckland) so any improvements are welcome. I will be seeking a briefing from AT shortly to find out more. Let me know your thoughts or experiences with the roundabout below...
