I'm looking for my new direction - Any employment opportunities out there.
Hello :-)
I currently work for The Salvation Army. My position is Community Ministries Coordinator. I have been there for a total of 8 years (mix of volunteering and then employment).
I manage the Food Bank, Drop In Centre, Advocacy with agencies, and manage a team of volunteers on a daily basis.
Some pretty big changes are happening at the Corp I work at, and unfortunately, these changes leave me redundant early in the new year.
My work has been so meaningful and rewarding. I have walked beside many members of our community as they seek to better their lives and find solutions to assist them to get there.
I would love to have a similar role out there. Something that makes a difference in people's lives and living situations.
