Dog walking and transferring Covid19
Scientists have discovered that the Covid19 virus can be present on animal fur (if a person with it has coughed or sneezed around the dog) so it's best not to let your dog interact with other dogs when out on walks. You only have to pat your dog (who's rubbed against another dog carrying the virus) to then have the virus transferred to your hand and then household. I've seen this happen recently with 2 dogs being walked by different owners. It also brought the owners into close contact rather than staying 2 metres apart.
Lest we forget...
On this ANZAC Day, let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.
Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.
