This is a registered charity providing support services for people with disabilites who receive a Work and Income benefit or receive ACC funding, and are aged between 17-65 years
, and also offer a range of programmes, courses and other activities to assist individuals to build their confidence, skill and links to the community. The Society seeks to provide stable and supportive employment for people with disabilities.
Please donate your unwanted goods to their op shop at the same address. The money raised goes 100% towards supporting adults with disabilities, and is a very worthwhile cause.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
