Looking for babies 6 months old and younger for medical students

Ellen from Point Chevalier

Hello everyone!

We are looking for babies 6 months old and younger for the second year medical students for the HELD project (Human Early Life Development).

Pairs of medical students would arrange a suitable time to visit your home over an 18 month period. They need to do 7 visits over this time, each roughly 1.5 hours long during this time and will essentially be observing and asking a lot of questions to better understand child behaviour and development and completing a workbook. If you are interested please email us at heldstudy@auckland.ac.nz or see our attached brochure for more information.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
