Long Bay Beach BIG CLEANUP

The BIG CLEANUP invites everyone to join us at Long Bay Regional Reserve for a community cleanup event. The beach has become increasingly littered from winter storms and we need your help to get the beach and grasslands back in shape for summer. This is a fun, educational and relaxing activity for families and children to attend. Please pop down and lend a hand for an hour!

When: Saturday 9th September, 10.00am to 11.00am
Where: The first car park on the right after you enter Long Bay Reserve.

Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times. Find out more
