Counties Manukau Health to offer free urgent care to eligible people in the community
FREE urgent care to eligible people in our rohe is available during Queen's Birthday weekend. From 5pm tomorrow (4 June) until Tuesday, 8 June eight urgent care clinics are offering free urgent care to the following people:
- Children under 14;
- People over 65;
- Community services card holders;
- High user health card holders; and
- People living in a quintile five area.
The consultation fee waiver applies to urgent care only e.g. things which need to be seen immediately if you aren’t able to see your local doctor. For more information and a list of those clinics, click the link below.

Roadworks on Great South Road, Bombay
From late November 2025 to February 2026 there will be roadworks on Great South Road near SH1 Bombay interchange.
Works will include weigh plate and electronic sign installation at separate locations as part of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Programme.
