Urgent Power Outage tonight in Hobsonville area
We wanted to let you know that there will be a power outage in the Hobsonville area from 10.00pm tonight (Tuesday 27 November) to 1.00am tomorrow morning (Wednesday 28 November), while we urgently replace overhead equipment.
Streets affected are Bannings Way, Scott Rd, Thomas Rielly Ave, Joshua Carder Drive, Toanui Rd, Myland Drive, Kokowai Pde, Greenfinch Rd, Craigs Way, Cicada Rd, Roa Ave, Observation Green, Kearns Drive, Kano Way, Irving Place, Turret Lane, Aviation Drive, Riroriro Rd, Memorial Park Lane, Hobsonville Rd, Clark Rd, Silvereye Rd, Pihoihoi Place, Blackbird Lane, Tai Crescent, Kota Lane, Habitat Place, Vazey Way, Ngaroma Home Views, Carder Holland Way, Brickworks Bay Rd, Bannings Way and Mardell Ave.
Customers will also be sent an email or text message, so please keep an eye out for these.
Every effort will be made to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum. We advise you to switch off all sensitive electrical equipment for the duration of the shutdown. Please remember, for your own safety, to treat all wiring and sockets as live at all times.
If you use medical equipment that relies on electricity you should let your retailer know and ensure you are prepared for power disruption. If there is an immediate health threat, please contact your health provider or call 111.
