Looking for long term rental
Hi there - I am a 54 year old quiet clean and tidy working professional with a border collie and two gorgeous maine coon cats - one elderly. I am looking for a long term rental property preferably on Herald Island as I've grown to love this little island since moving here a year ago. An unfurnished studio or 1 or 2 bedroom unit by the water or semi rural would be perfect - love of the outdoors, happy to maintain lawns and garden and can also look after your animals and home when you are away. Unfortunately property currently in is up for sale. Flexible with moving dates. If you or anyone you may know looking for a reliable, honest hard working mature female who pays rent on time and looks after a place like their own, please message me. Work in Glenfield so happy to extend options to parts of the shore and/or west Auckland.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
