Hi All, important message from Auckland Council. PLS READ:
I'm inviting all members in Hobsonville to book this important service that helps you be more organised in 2018.
Auckland’s inorganic collections for 2018 are starting soon. Pick-ups will take place between March and November 2018.
How do I make a booking?
It’s easy – you can make your booking online. Or, if you prefer, you can call 09 301 0101, or pop into any service centre.
Do you have items that are suitable for an inorganic collection?
If you have items in good condition, please first consider selling them, listing them on Neighbourly or donating them to your local charity. The remainder can then be picked up in the inorganic collection. The inorganic service is designed for items which wouldn’t be appropriate for kerbside rubbish or recycling collection. Find out more about what can and can’t be collected.
What do I need to do to get ready?
When you make your booking, you’ll be given a timeframe for collections in your area. We’ll be in touch closer to the time to confirm your collection date.
When it’s time for your collection, simply place items (up to 1 cubic metre of material) in an easily accessible place within the boundary of your property. Our contractors will come and take it away for you.
If you’d like to learn more about inorganic collections, including what happens to collected items, see makethemostofwaste.co.nz.
Kind regards
