A mix of restorative, flow and Hatha yoga.
This 6 week block of Yoga is a winning combination of expert tuition and invigorating classes to both strengthen and calm both body and mind.
There’s a real sense of community at the Hobsonville gym and the yoga classes are no different - a fact evident from the feeling of encouragement and ease you feel from the first class. With a very personable approach from expert yoga teacher Cheryl Hamilton, all pretension is left at the door to provide classes that encourage rather than intimidate to make strengthening and stretching that much more appealing. Cheryl will guide you through the yoga practice and provide variations to any of the yoga poses, but it does pay to have done yoga before.

Some Papakura residents are so frustrated about their bin tags being swiped off their rubbish bins, they're coming up with some pretty creative ways to deter thieves. The pay-as-you-throw tags were introduced by Auckland Council in Papakura and west Auckland earlier this year and range from between $2.60- $5.50 a bin. To read more, click here.
Although the bin tags aren't city-wide, it got us wondering what other rubbish-bin issues were out there? Has your bin been stolen before? Do people fill your bins with their rubbish and recycling? Have you had lids or wheels broken off them? What extreme measures have you taken to make sure your rubbish gets collected? Let us know in the replies.

Around 100 New Zealanders die from bowel cancer each month, but regular bowel screening every two years can help find cancer early when it can usually be successfully treated.
Dame Naida has done the test herself and says it’s clean and simple to do. You should have been sent a test kit if you live in the Waitemata DHB area, and are; aged 60 to 74, under 60 and were invited onto the bowel screening pilot.
If you think you are eligible and have not been sent a bowel screening test please call 0800 924 432 or visit our website
