Celebrate the opening of the Didsbury Art Trail at Hobsonville Point this weekend (7th and Sunday 8th March) from 10am-2pm.

Experience larger-than-life artworks from some of New Zealand’s top artists as you wind your way along picturesque coastline and beautiful streetscapes, taking in unique heritage sites along the way.

There are loads of fun events scheduled to celebrate the opening, including artists’ workshops and kids’ activities along the trail. Plus, the Catalina Bay Farmers Market will be hosting their 10 year anniversary celebration, alongside waterfront cafes, restaurants and the Little Creatures microbrewery.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
