Frustration With Pool Covers, where to buy them?

Matt from Henderson

Hi everyone, just a quick message. I brought one of those bestway 10 foot round pools a while back. Now I am in searching to find a pool cover for my pool at home. I went to Mega Mitre 10 Lincoln Road to get one which was advertised online. The lady I spoke to said that the ones they had were left of the 10ft pool covers were at another store called Hauraki Ranges. They apparently had 9-10 in stock. Too far to travel plus I don't have a car. I went to Para Rubber to enquire the same thing. I received a answer phone message yesterday saying that they had completely ran out of the 10ft covers for these pools as well.

This does not make sense to me. You buy the pool but the pool cover of your size pool in not in West Auckland or in another part of the country. Very silly in my mind. All well, gonna buy a tarpaulin for the pool. Has anyone had similar issues with pools or pool covers as such?

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
