Calling all local businesses
Henderson Bowling Club is a well-established community facility promoting health and well-being to our members and the wider community. We have an upcoming tournament and are seeking the support of like-minded local businesses. We have secured some sponsorship but would like to open this up to our local friends who might want to contribute in a small way. This need not be a large commitment, smaller items or vouchers that can be used as prizes would be perfect. In return we ensure all our members know who you are and that you support our Club. This is done on the day of the tournament with further acknowledgement via our Facebook page, Club website and monthly newsletter. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
