Unique, Beautiful and Fun Treasures arriving every day at Henderson ReStore Charity Shop

The Team from Henderson ReStore Charity Shop (Habitat Auckland)

A warm hello Henderson community,

We wanted to touchbase reminding you to drop in regularly to check out the amazing donations Henderson ReStore are receiving every day. We are situated at 7 Dora Place.

There really are some awesome, surprising and beautiful gems arriving in our donations daily........and we want to share it with you.

So please keep us front of mind when you next fancy a 'second hand store adventure' or when donating your pre-loved goods.

The funds collected from our ReStores help Habitat for Humanity directly towards achieving their mission that 'everyone deserves a decent place to live'.

Right now, Habitat is responding to the devastation of Cyclone Gita in Tonga and Samoa. We are working with local aid agencies on the ground and arranging 1000 shelter kits to send to Tongan and Samoan families in need of a safe place to live after their homes have been damaged or destroyed.

Back home in NZ- Habitat, Auckland is very busy helping as many families as we can to live in dry, healthy homes. We are installing curtains, getting rid of black mould where ever we can and educating the families and landlords on ways to stop drafts, reduce dampness and tips on smart energy use.

Shelley, our awesome manager and her wonderful team of staff and volunteers look forward to saying a warm hi and helping you out in any way they can.

Happy Monday everyone! :-)

Jan from Te Atatu South

Keep an eye on this guy, pretended to read the water meter, then wandered up the drive crowbar in hand when I asked what he wanted he said power and is there a dog.We have smart meters. He opened my neighbours gate (we are 3 units) and went in the back of her place with his crowbar. My son went round there and he took off. Police informed.
