Church Office Administrator
Are you self-motivated, highly organised, flexible, can work autonomously, have a pastoral heart and are open to working in a team that serves a culturally diverse community?
The Administrator role is key to improving administrative processes and systems to ensure St Columba has the capacity to deliver current and future ministry projects, and supports its goal of long-term sustainability.
Important to the role is managing St Columba’s finances, working alongside our treasurer and the Diocesan Central Accounting team. The work includes invoicing, preparing finance reports, coding and managing church and hall bookings.
The role is part-time, Tuesday to Friday, based in Grey Lynn at our church and community centre. We seek an experienced office administrator who brings the following skills and experience:
Track record of successful administrative experience
Funding application experience
Excellent written and verbal communication
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office and databases
Website and social media capabilities
Personable and friendly nature
Ability to work within a culturally diverse, faith-based environment
Able to work under pressure and with deadlines
Applicants should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. Current NZ driver’s licence.
