We’ve been getting frequent visits from her which we really enjoy, but wanted to check she does have a home.

Kākāpō to head home from Auckland Zoo after lengthy battle with deadly disease

Hi neighbours, kākāpō Margaret Maree has been cared for by Auckland Zoo for the past eight months after an outbreak of aspergillosis.
Now, she is well enough to go home. We got to go to her final CT scan which gave her the all clear to go back to Whenua Hou/Codfish Island.
