Love Zero Waste trailer available for event hire

Deborah Teh from EcoMatters Environment Trust

A year ago, we came back to work after our summer holiday to find that our beloved Wash Against Waste trailer had been stolen. But we’re not the type to stay out of action for long.
Meet the new kick-ass kid on the block. Our Love Zero Waste trailer has everything you need to help you eliminate waste at your next event. It's available to hire for any wedding, festival or fair in Auckland and beyond, and is outfitted with cutlery and crockery, bins for sorting your rubbish and a hot water system for your Wash Against Waste station. More photos and bookings at: goo.gl...
Thank you all for your support and passion to keep Wash Against Waste alive and kicking. Bring on 2017.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

Product recalls

Christine from Green Bay

I am appalled at the number of product recalls - salmon to snack balls to a huge range of toys. Not good enough manufacturers! Surely products are health and safety checked.
