Get ready for Dino Hunt 2020!
Get ready for Dino Hunt 2020!
If you and your family enjoyed hunting for fairy doors, get ready for Dino Hunt 2020!
From Saturday 19 September until 18 October, search 80 of our parks, playgrounds and community centres for dinosaurs! Pick up a form from your local community centre, or print it out the attached picture.
Record the numbers on the dinosaurs and enter the competition (or just find them for fun!).
And please remember social distancing rules when exploring and to wash/sanitise your hands.
A huge thankyou to Kaipatiki Community Facilities Trust, Bayview Community Centre, Birkdale Beach Haven Community Project, Glenfield Community Centre and Highbury Community House.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
