Marlborough Park Update
Much of Marlborough Park will be closed off from now until September, as a number of projects get underway.
During this time, you will only be able to access the park from the main carpark off Chartwell Ave and from Archers Road. The Edgeworth Rd, Ramillies Place and entrance from behind Chartwell shops will be closed.
If you use the main carpark, you will need to follow the path around the back of the Youth Centre to get to the playground, skatepark, etc.
The improvement projects include:
* New junior playground
* New path network
* Extension of basketball court to full size
* Drainage improvements
* Furniture improvements

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
