Le Roys Bush Reserve tracks open
The Stage 2 tracks are finally open! You can now walk all the way between the Birkenhead Town Centre (behind the Senior Citizens Hall, opposite the library) through to Dudding Park Sportsfield/Little Shoal Bay Reserve. The new section from the Little Shoal Bay end is step-free.
Please stay on the track and use the cleaning stations to clean your shoes.
Thanks to whoever placed purple and orange fairy doors along the route for the kids to look for!
The Onewa Road track is now temporarily closed for upgrading. The track from Le Roy Terrace remains closed.
Stage 3 of the track upgrades has been pushed out to 2022/23 as part of Council's emergency budget cuts.
