I am writing this for my friend Paula as she is not a member of Neighbourly due to the fact that she has just returned to NZ from US.
Unfortunately on arrival she has just sustained a back injury and so stuck at home without an income.
The thing is she is smart, articulate and computer literate (familiar with several CRMS) with a great sense of humour.
She is seeking casual work that she can do from home in her own time.... so if you have any tasks that she can help with eg packing, sorting, ironing, data entry, cooking etc please contact her directly.
She is a great friend, wonderful worker.
She can be contacted on 0224542189

Anyone else doing Halloween this year? Burnley Terrace is set to go off for trick or treating once again where hundreds of kids descend like locusts for a few hours. It'll be different this year; that's for sure 😣Anyway, if you're like me, what changes will you make? Just curious.… View moreAnyone else doing Halloween this year? Dubbed Dame Whina Cooper, the machine will excavate the rail tunnels for the city's largest ever transport infrastructure project.
It was shipped from its factory in southern China on board the BBC Orion and will be trucked to the City Rail Link site in Mt Eden for reassembly.
City Rail Link Ltd chief executive Dr Sean Sweeney said the machine's arrival signals an important transition for the project.
It marks a symbolic crossover from those enabling works to the complex and hefty job of finishing our tunnels and stations, he said.
"Construction is ramping up quickly."
People are invited to the see the machine close up at an open day planned for December.
More details will be announced next month.
The tunnel boring machine will be used to excavate two 1.6 km tunnels from Mt Eden to the CBD to link with the tunnels already dug from Britomart Station.
Work will start later this week on excavation of the first 51 metres of the tunnel at Mt Eden.
Excavation of the cavern and trench will make room for the machine to take over mining.
People will be able to keep track of Dame Whina Cooper's progress when tunneling begins.
An on-line link will measure the journey below Auckland in real time.

There's nothing worse than someone doing a job and leaving your house in a mess and not cleaning up at the end of the job.
Thats why here at No Shock we always carry vacuum cleaners and make sure our work sites are spick and span after the works completed

Are you kitchen benches looking a little dark?
Some LED strip lighting is a great way to lighting up the area. You can even go colour changing. Integrate with all your smart Apps to turn off on on or even dance to the music.

Hi does anyone have an xbox360 wireless adapter they no longer need? My son found the old xbox when we were moving and he wants to play some of the games but I have misplaced the adapter.
Thanks

Hi Neighbours,
Did you know that the average Kiwi uses 227 litres of water per day?? There are many ways we can reduce water usage at home but if you are serious about saving water, and saving money, call the team at Topline Trade Services for advice on water saving devices.
