Car Accident

Josephine from Remuera

Hi Neighbours,

I had an accident at Omahu Road at around 245pm today. I was coming from Remuera Road going towards Great South Road when a car from Dromorne Road just suddenly hit me. Unfortunately there were no other cars running at that time or people walking who could have seen the accident. Immediately I ran to check if the other car stopped at the other corner but he was gone. The neighbours came rushing to check when they heard a loud bang. I'm just very grateful for their assistance while I'm getting back to my composure.

I did not manage to get the Registration Number but the color is Silver and the driver was male. Some pieces of of his car were on the road. I took photos of it.

I anyone of you happens to see a car with a damaged front, please let me know. From the damaged pieces, the car is a Nissan make.

Also, I took a photo of my damaged car.

Thanks.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
