Craft Class

Katie from Bayswater

Craft Club

: A new class! In our craft club we will be working on fun, creative, crafty projects each week. We will develop a strong creative eye and learn some great craft skills. These projects will be made by hand and mostly textile based. This will involve working on a variety of creations, such as hand stitching, pom poms, jewellery, weaving and more.

This class is a great option for the younger kids who are pretty keen on craft and textiles but maybe not quite ready to use the sewing machines. This class is also great for any older kids that just want a bit of added creativity in their week.

Wednesdays 3.30-4.45 starting 8th of May. Ages 6-12.

Email or check out our website for more information:

We also have a few spaces left in our kids and adults sewing classes, email to find out more!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
