Shade sails for Normanton Reserve and Rotary Grove playgrounds!
* The playground at Normanton Reserve, Glenfield, will be closed next week for the installation of shade sail poles. The sails will then be fitted around 20 December.
* The poles have already been installed at Rotary Grove, Northcote, and the sails are due to be fitted around 14 December.

* Meanwhile the Onepoto Domain junior playground shade sails should be completed around 20 December.
* And coming in February, we'll be installing some shade over the waiting area at the Marlborough Park skatebowl!

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
