Northcote Ferry Update
Unfortunately Monday's official opening of the new Te Onewa Northcote Wharf and the start of the Northcote ferry service have both been postponed. However the changes to the Birkenhead ferry service will begin.
Auckland Transport have said that the delay is due to the weather conditions last week that prevented the completion of ferry trials, and the confirmed case of COVID-19 transmission in lower Northland.
Stay tuned for further info.

When is our "leader gonna harden up"?
So, once again we go into a lower level of "lockdown"?? I hate the term "lockdown"...it sounds like a communist word...however, when is our public going to get angry and start making our "government" harden up? I don't think fines work....it's quite easy... feel sick, stay at home...

Are you struggling to find a rental or buy a home in Auckland?
Hello everyone,
I was hoping to get in contact with someone from the Māori, Pasifika and Indian community who have either struggled to find a rental or buy a home.
The housing crisis has affected all three groups particularly badly, so if there's anyone who comes from these groups who is willing to talk please drop me a message: ged.cann@stuff.co.nz
Thanks,
Ged Cann
