2 New Handrails
I'm pleased that a couple of safety handrails have recently been installed after I escalated complaints from the community.
One has been installed by Auckland Transport at the top of the steep hill at the western end of Peach Road, Glenfield, after a local resident had slipped and injured herself.
The other was installed by the Parks Dept (Community Facilities) after they agreed to include it in the renewal of the staircase at the Clarence Road entrance to Little Shoal Bay Reserve, to assist in getting down the steep steps.
