FREE Child Weekend Fares - from Saturday 7 September

Brian from New Lynn

Good news is, AT is making Child Weekend Fares free and extending the offer to some ferries as well! Children 5-15, inclusive, travelling with a registered AT HOP card can travel free on trains, buses and ferries* on weekends and on public holidays. Children under five already travel free of charge. This is fantastic news for families, as it means from 7 September, they’ll be able to take the kids on adventures all over Auckland on the train, bus or ferry*, absolutely free. Now’s the time to make sure your children have AT HOP cards and register them online. By registering, Child Concessions will be automatically loaded when you enter their date of birth, and they’ll be able to take advantage of Free Child Weekend Fares. You’ll need to tag on and off, but there will be no charge. *Skybus and some ferry services excluded.
