Vaccination rates in Covid-19 suburbs of interest

The government has released data on the Covid-19 vaccination rate by suburb.



Public health efforts are focused on Mt Wellington, Sylvia Park and Red Beach, along with some other suburbs.

On average, 87.4 per cent have had their first dose in Mt Wellington and 61.5 per cent are fully vaccinated.​

90.1 per cent of people have had the first dose in Sylvia Park, and 66.3 per cent are fully vaccinated.​ This is the highest rate among suburbs of interest.

83.8 per cent of residents have had one dose in Red Beach West, and 57 per cent are fully vaccinated. In Red Beach East, 86 per cent have had one dose, and 52.5 per cent have had two.​
