Have you thought about what you and your family would do in the event of a Civil Defence Emergency, this might not be a major disaster, but loss of Water, Power and access out of your street, do other neighbours in your street have access to generators, gas burners, extra supplies or have a skill such as a nurse or doctor?
Neighbourhood Support provides information on being prepared for a civil Defence emergency , we also encourage and provide resources to set up Neighbourhood Support groups in streets, if you are interested in finding out more please contact us on admin@neighbourhood.org.nz or call us on 353-0427 Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 1.30pm
