Our son Sam was practicing his football on Ashgrove Park as he does most evenings. He came home to show us a card that a lady had given to him with $20 inside congratulating him on his enthusiasm for the sport and telling him to keep it up. Sam was so proud and that meant so much to him. He says he will remember this for the rest of his life how a stranger could be so kind as to make that effort to show him his hard work had not gone unnoticed. That $20 meant he was able to pay off a final installment of a camera he was saving up for and will go to good use. We would sincerely like to thank the lady who did this and let her know we were extremely touched by this gesture and how much it means to Sam. His ambition is to be a professional footballer so if he is lucky enough to achieve this then I am sure his first wage will never be forgotten.
Many thanks
